Our Process

To start any construction project, solid plans are needed. We can customize any plan to suit your needs by using our personal drafting services, or we can build your dream home from a plan you have already picked out. Ritchie and Olson can help with blueprints in a couple different ways, either personally or working with someone local.

We begin by reviewing your building or remodeling design and ideas to create a floor plan that fits your needs. From there we obtain quotes from all sub-contractors for all the materials needed to complete construction. When we've finished quoting, we give you a turn key price for your new home. We are very flexible throughout this process and will do as much, or as little as you want us to.

Once we begin construction, Ritchie and Olson will stay in contact with you to give progress reports and to request new information about the next step. If you do not currently live in the Bemidji area, but are planning to build here, we can still get started! We work with clients near or far. For clients who are located farther away during the building process, we usually check in weekly or as needed.
